What is Marietta Art in the Park?
The Art in the Park Festival is a fine art show featuring artists from around the country. Art includes jewelry, pottery, painting, woodworking, metal, textile, sculpture, glass and photography. The festival is the best fine art festival in Cobb County and draws an estimated 55,000 people to the square each year.

Is there a fee for the festival?
No. Admission is free.

Where does Art in the Park take place?
In Glover Park on the historic Marietta Square. The GPS address is 50 N. Park Square, Marietta, GA 30060.

Marietta City Hall Parking Deck, 205 Lawrence Street has free weekend parking.  The 2 Cobb County Parking Decks located at 17 Waddell St. NE & 1 Haynes St has plenty of parking – daily rates do apply.

Will any streets be closed?
Yes, all of Glover Park surrounding streets will be closed including: North, South, East and West Park Square, Roswell, Mill, Lawrence and Atlanta St. Partial closures of Cherokee and Church Street. Closures will be in effect from Friday afternoon until Monday night with the exception of West Park Square closing at 10pm Friday evening.

How many artists will be there?
There are 220 artists from Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia.

Are there activities for the kids?
Yes, there are many free make and take art stations. The Interactive Art Area is located next to the Marietta Local on Atlanta Street. There will also be a number of activities such as face painting, sand art  that will require a small fee. Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Can I bring my dog to Art in the Park?
Dogs are welcome however the majority of the festival is located on the city streets and with the September heat it can be extremely hot on their paws. Please be mindful and bring water for you dog to drink!  All dogs must be on a leash.

Where are the restrooms?
Public restrooms are located at the Marietta Welcome Center in the old train depot building or underneath the stage. There will also be portable restrooms, including the famous, award winning Painted Pots. These Painted Pots are the only painted portable restrooms in the state of Georgia and were first seen during the 2008 festival – a fun photo opportunity.

Will there be food at the festival?
There are many restaurants located on the Marietta Square that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner-indoor and patio style.  Beer, wine, water and soft drinks will be sold on site.

Is there music at the festival?
Yes, singer/songwriters will be located in the small gazebo inside the park.  Grab a bench seat and enjoy the sounds.  FREE!

Is there an ATM close by?
Yes, it is located on the side of the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, located at the corner of N. Park Square and Cherokee St.
